Accomplishments

When you tune into news and entertainment in New York, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Fayetteville, Arkansas, or Columbus, Ohio- you will see BDTV alumni displaying diligence, discipline, and effort on the air or behind the camera. You will also be entertained by several BDTV alumni working in the film, corporate, and digital media industry throughout the country and world. These young men and women took advantage of the opportunity afforded to them in high school and turned their passion into a profession. They are GREAT examples of what BDTV will and is built from: DDE-diligence, discipline and effort!! In fact, this year one of our BDTV alumni and Los Angeles film makers, Sam Utley '12 served on the Oscar Award-winning special effects team for "Avatar-The Way of Water". BDTV will continue to produce servant-leaders and instill the characteristics of diligence, discipline, and effort to current and future agents of change!

Production Services

Ben Davis Television is an award-winning production facility that produces content for all stakeholders. Our motto," How can BDTV inform, educate, and entertain the world about all of the positive things happening in Wayne Township and Central Indiana?" BDTV has produced award-winning content for the National Football League. 'The NFL Matters' campaign gave us an opportunity to produce a commercial on how important high school football was/is to the local community. This commercial won several awards including the Award for Excellence from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Lower Great Lakes Chapter. BDTV produces content for their Bendavistelevision YouTube channel and streams live events. This gives all students the opportunity to master the 5 components of television production: camera, audio, lighting, writing, and editing.
