December Students of the Month

Haleigh Asbury 12th grade - Persisting:

Here is what Lori Welter had to say about Haleigh. "Haleigh is a Senior graduating in January. She has persisted in staying on-track with this goal and moving on to college. She has maintained straight As for most of the semester. Haleigh brings fun and a sense of family to my day. She works hard to have good grades and get all of her work done with pride. She will be missed during semester 2, but I can't wait to see her cross the stage."

Daisy Little 10th grade - Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision:

Here is what Cory Haley had to say about Daisy. "Daisy has demonstrated outstanding "Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision." We have a large, social, geometry class. She takes excellent notes and volunteers to help classmates on assignments, once she's finished her assignment. I greatly appreciate her helpful character and excellent thinking and communicating with not only me, but also with her classmates. I know they appreciate help getting assignments done in class too, instead of homework. I can't think of a more deserving student for Student of the Month.

Javihon Jarrett 12th grade - Listening with Understanding and Empathy:

Here is what Donna Schaefer had to say about Javihon. "While walking to the main office I approached 2 students walking past me at a very slow pace. I inquired where they were going, the girl answered me but the young man refused to speak to me. A little while later Mr. Lile and the same young man were at the classroom door asking to speak to me. Apparently this young man ran into Mr. Lile and mentioned he did something wrong and was rude to a staff member. After Mr. Lile introduced him to me, he apologized for not talking to me when I asked him a question. Not many students would think this was rude or give this a second thought to apologize to a staff member. I applaud his upbringing.
