Here is what Tom Hayes had to say about Lily. "Lily does an outstanding job as one of the online editors for Spotlight. She is constantly coming up with creative ideas for content and makes sure our bdspotlight website is up-to-date and interesting. Only a sophomore, she is our most prolific writer this school year and is always looking for new ways to create content."

A'Vante Milligan 10th grade - Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision:

Here is what Katherine Walton had to say A'Vante. "A’Vante uses clear and precise communication skills to lead groups during lab activities in chemistry class. He demonstrates his thinking and communicates these ideas to support other students during the lab. He is a fantastic example of thinking and communicating with clarity and precision. It is a pleasure and privilege to observe him practice these skills in chemistry class this semester."

Bryce Kennedy 12th grade - Creating, Imagining, and Innovating:

Here is what Katrina Dawson had to say about Bryce. "On multiple occasions this year, Bryce has taken initiative in planning and executing community-building activities for his peers. What makes him particularly successful is his creativity and intuition. He anticipates what students will enjoy, and he makes sure those elements are at the forefront of the events. The result is-- a (seemingly) effortless good time. Bryce is a proud Ben Davis Giant, and he goes out of his way to make sure he facilitates opportunities for everyone to express their school pride and spirit together! He is one of the many students behind our district's motto, great schools, great COMMUNITY."
