Language Assistance Program Family Night Celebrates Diversity and Community
The Language Assistance Program (LAP) hosted a successful Family Night on September 5. The District-wide event brought together multilingual learners and their families for an evening of community, culture, and resources.
Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center buzzed with excitement as attendees enjoyed cultural performances, participated in fun games, and sampled delicious food, all while fostering connections within our vibrant community.
The annual event also served as a valuable resource hub. Representatives from various community organizations and Wayne Township departments were on hand to provide information and support to our multilingual families. An immunization clinic offered on-site services.
The LAP Family Night exemplifies our ongoing commitment to increasing student belonging and creating a culture where students feel accepted, respected, and empowered in their education journey.
