MSD Wayne Celebrates Excellence in Education at 2025 Teacher of the Year Awards

M.S.D. Wayne Township honored its extraordinary educators at the 2025 Teacher of the Year Award Celebration on May 7. Hosted by the Wayne Township Classroom Teachers Association, the annual event brought together colleagues, family, and friends to honor 21 outstanding building-level Teachers of the Year, each representing their individual schools.

The evening culminated with the announcement of the district-wide winners: Shannon Copeland of McClelland Elementary was named the 2025 Elementary School Teacher of the Year, and Daniel Schifano from the Area 31 Career Center received the honor of 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year.
